About J. Carr Communications

Jason Carr founded J. Carr Communications to promote the philanthropic efforts of athletes, sports organizations, and sports-adjacent nonprofits.

About Jason

Jason has spent nearly 25 years in sports communications, starting with the American League Office of MLB, followed by time with the Seattle Mariners, PBA Tour, and then 18 seasons with the Chicago Cubs. He has worked with players, field staff, front office executives, and media from various backgrounds. His experiences in high-pressure environments showed him how vital honesty, empathy, and relationships are to accomplishing goals.

In 2024, Jason left the Cubs to be more present in his son’s life. Following time in corporate communications, he started J. Carr Communications to help others tell their philanthropic stories and promote their efforts to benefit others. He wants to highlight the positive impacts athletes and organizations make in their communities.
